SKYTRAK 5.3 Release Notes:

Major New Features:

• Firmware 0.107: This update includes improved capture rates for chip shots and enhanced Wi‑Fi performance in select geographic regions.
• Improved Shot Capture: Improvements to general shot capture rates have been implemented. Issues where well-struck shots were previously misinterpreted as no-reads have been resolved.
• Multi-Platform Rollout: All features from version 5.2 are now available on iOS, macOS, and Android.

Adjustments and Bug Fixes:

• Graphics settings have been added to Course Play Practice.
• The wind direction arrow is now pointing in the correct direction in Course Play Practice.
• The units that distances are displayed in have been updated when chipping and pitching around the green.
• The Lie Penalty values when in the rough have been updated.
• Ground physics have been updated for greens, fairways, and the rough to behave more realistically.
• The algorithms for calculating club head speed have been updated to align more closely with expected performance.
• Chipping on the green has been re-enabled for shots with a launch angle greater than 10 degrees. For such shots, spin will now be applied appropriately.
• Added the follow the ball when in "Putting Mode" during Course Play Practice.
• Addressed an issue causing the "Max Height" of shots to be displayed incorrectly when using meters for chipping has been fixed.
• An issue was resolved where switching from Course Play Practice with Lie Penalty enabled back to a standard range incorrectly retained the Lie Penalty.
• Addressed an issue on mobile where the "Shot Plotting" info in the history page was blank.

SKYTRAK 5.2 Release Notes:

Major New Features:

• Course Play Practice is now available! Practice from anywhere, in any way, on any of the Course Play courses.
• Match Play comes to Course Play. Challenge your friends and family in local 1v1 or 2v2 play!
• Lie Penalties comes to Course Play and Course Play Practice. When enabled, the power and spin of your shots will be adjusted to match your current conditions. 

Minor New Features:

• Altitude is now adjustable within Course Play setup.
• Additional manual and auto-putt options have been added to Course Play.

Adjustments and Bug Fixes:

• The distance of the last shot in PinSeeker is now displayed to the user.
• A hole out noise has been added to Course Play.
• The previous shot aim is now retained when taking a Mulligan or Rehit in Course Play.
• Course Play settings are now retained between sessions.
• When using Meters the gimmie circle sizes have been updated to the correct distances when setting up a round in Course Play.
• A way to close the SKYTRAK app directly has been added to the main menu.
• Addressed an issue where the incorrect ground characteristics were sometimes being applied after taking a Mulligan or Rehit.
• Addressed an issue where low launch shots could see crazy amounts of rollout.
• Addressed an issue where in Practice the altitude options showed in yards instead of feet.

SkyTrak 5.1 Release Notes:

Major New Features:

• PinSeeker is now available on Windows, iOS, Android, and MacOS! Compete in online closest-to-the-pin tournaments to win fame, cash, and prizes!
• The SkyTrak App is now available on MacOS!
• Course Play comes to all other platforms(iOS, Android, and MacOS)!

Minor New Features:

• Hot Keys have been added to Course Play, press "K" while playing for an overview.
• Graphics levels are now configurable in Course Play settings.
• Configurable camera offset has been added to Course Play settings.
• 4 new green speed options have been added to Course Play's "Set Up Match" screen.
• Aim controls using the keyboard have been added to all modes that support changing your aim.
• A "Plays Like" has been added to the yardage indicator for course play taking into account height differences. This can be toggled from the indicator itself or from the Course Play settings screen.
• Updated UIs will be seen across: Bag Mapping, Wedge Matrix, Skills Assessment, and Challenge Mode

Bug Fixes:

• Addressed an issue where vertical launch when putting was being added on specific setups. This should be zero'd out now making putting far more reliable moving forward.
• Addressed an issue where in some circumstances the camera offset was not retaining after the reboot of the system.
• Addressed an issue where the ball did not always fall to the bottom of the hole on a made putt.
• Addressed an issue where rehit was not adding a stroke when taken.
• Addressed an issue where in some circumstances the UI would move in practice mode.
• Addressed an issue where links from the sign in page did not take the user to the ideal location to create an account.
• Addressed an issue where the tee high on Par 3's could be comically tall
